RAE (THEY/THEM) IS A NON-BINARY, FILIPINO-AMERICAN ANTHROPOLOGIST WORKING IN NORTH AMERICA.
Their work focuses on contemporary US narratives about racism, digital technologies, and far-right actors.
Their book project explores how "online hate speech" constitutes a metadiscourse and political preoccupation that tells us something about American race thinking through narratives about what technologies "do."
They currently teach linguistic anthropology and race and racism at American University.

Anti-trans organizing and its relationship to white supremacy
